NWL Academy team promote healthcare careers to school leavers

On 30th January 2025, the North West London Recruitment and Talent hub team was invited to an NHS Masterclass event hosted by City of Westminster College, aimed at promoting NHS careers to 16-18 year olds.

Our Nursing and Midwifery Clinical Educators participated in the event, engaging with young people to share their experiences in the NHS and provide insights into the roles and responsibilities of careers in Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health Professions (AHP), and Clinical Support Work.​

The team also offered guidance on CV writing and shared tips on how to navigate the NHS recruitment process with confidence, including preparing for interviews and understanding onboarding procedures.​

The event saw great success, with over 160 students in attendance. Due to high demand, the organisers had to turn students away, highlighting the event's popularity and impact.​
